Very complete, very mature, flexible and sane to configure.
Full Xorg replacement functionality wise to me.
one downside : no officialy support for certain GPU.
Recently sway-fx allows you to exeriment the same joy as with compton on X11 : nice blurs with "".

Nice but not as polished.
Had to add a lot of custom client rules to make some modals floating by default.

Very nice but recently abandoned for now.

Not interessed. Was curious but not going to replace the previous for me. The functionality set does not appeal to me but still nice.
